A few good recipes to help your friends bake for the Holidays. A very delicious gift idea!

BROWNIE MIX

2 ¼ cups 4sugar
2/3 cups
4cocoa (clean inside of jar with paper towel after this layer)
¾ cups
4chopped pecans
1 ¼ cups
4flour, mixed with 1 teaspoon salt

Use a 1 qt. Mason Jar to layer ingredients. Layer ingredients in jar in order given. Press each layer firmly in place before adding the next ingredient.

Attached the following Recipe to the jar:
Empty Brownie Mix in jar into a large mixing bowl and stir to combine.
Add ¾ cup melted butter and 4 eggs, slightly beaten, and mix until completely blended.
Spread batter in a greased 9x13 inch baking pan.
Bake at 350º for 30 minutes. Cool completely in pan.
Yields approximately 12 to 15 brownies.

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE MIX

½ cup 4sugar
½ cup 4chopped walnuts
1 cup 4chocolate chips
1 cup 4packed brown sugar
2 ¼ cups
4flour, mixed with 1 teaspoon baking soda and ¼ teaspoon salt

Layer ingredients in jar in order given.
Press each layer firmly in place before adding the next ingredient.

Attached the following Recipe to the jar:
Empty cookie mix in jar into a large mixing bowl and stir to combine.
Add ¾ cup softened butter, 1 egg slightly beaten and 1 teaspoon vanilla and mix until completely blended.
Roll heaping tablespoons into balls.
Place 2 inches apart on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350º for 13 to 15 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes on baking sheet. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
These cookies will firm up when completely cooled.
Yields approximately 3 dozen cookies. Enjoy!
